These Zara loafers are classic and modern and I must have them.
I love that all of Stella's collections are relaxed, effortless and inimitably cool. Classic houndstooth prints feel fresh when stretched and manipulated onto clothing in artful and voluminous silhouettes. The predominant palette of black, white and navy is timeless and modern at once. REALLY loving the menswear oxfords paired with everything from pantsuits to dresses.
Two of my favorite beauty looks from this week's couture shows: bold and sexy at Atelier Versace (left) and playful sparkle at Chanel. Both looks had a nude- with a hint of pink- lip with a focus on the eyes and healthy just-pinched cheeks.
Forty (!!) years ago today, Katherine Ann Moss was born. Who knew she would grow up to be one of the world's foremost style icons; and iconic in so many other ways. Kate is the embodiment of cool, of the I-don't-give-a-fuck-what-you-think attitude (she is still slammed for her now-infamous quote "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"). She is fashion's sphinx: unmistakeable in image, yet still somewhat of an enigma.
In celebration of her 40th birthday, an exhibit entitled Kate Moss: 40 - A Retrospective, by journalist-turned-artist Russel Marshall will open at the Intimate Modern Gallery in London from January 17 until February 15. Read more on the exhibit here.
Happy Birthday Kate!
