Oversized (read: boyfriend) jean jackets are so versatile they can be paired with virtually anything. I love this particular look because it looks like it was thrown together last minute; totally unplanned but totally cool. Check out WhoWhatWear for more inspiring boyfriend jean jacket looks and ways to wear it.
To my fellow Canadians: Canada Day is just around the corner (Tuesday) and you gotta rep the red and white. This American Apparel tank is just one cool option to show your maple leaf pride: check out Roots' selection here. Old Navy also has lots of cute red and white gear that's super affordable to boot. Eh.
The little white dress is almost synonymous with summer, but these ladies (straight from Pitti Uomo in Florence) offer two uber cool ways to wear them. Top: a sleeveless, short (obviously) number with a whimsical tasseled hem and accessorized to perfection with a Céline bag, the ubiquitous Birkenstock sandal and a mini bandana tied at the ankle. Above: short (again, duh), raw edge hem, with a haphazardly-draped voluminous coat and a chunky sandal expertly anchors the entire look.
Beautiful fluidity, especially in the long wrap skirts. Soft volume was a constant, seen in the slouchy tops, jackets and a long duster coat with exaggerated lapels that would just be amazing to wear in the last days of summer and early fall. Also dying over the strappy wedges.
I'm not sure why I'm feeling fall/winter styling over summer right now... possibly because chilly weather is what I've become accustomed to as it lingers on (despite the fact that we're now into June).
But talk about a fall/winter uniform- I'd wear this one every. single. day.
