Paris de blanc vêtu (Paris in the snow). Could there seriously be anything more beautiful than this? You know when you see images of a place and you want to go there so badly you can actually feel it? Yeah that's me right now looking at these photos.

Have you ever seen a gown so delightfully weird and ethereal? Could only be Marc Jacobs. Christina Ricci recently wore it here.

best of
The two best (by far) f/w '09 campaigns. Mert & Marcus for DSquared2 and Ryan McGinley for Missoni featuring Lara and Hanne Gaby, respectively. I especially love the latter because the movement of the clothes is captured so beautifully.

Love the poinsettia/holly berry/cranberry pop of red in the scarf, perfect for the holidays.

PS - Thank you so much to Cindy, The Style Spotter and Kristie for the blogger awards! (Beautiful Blogger Award, Glamorous Blog Award and Beautiful Blogger Award, respectively). Ladies, you made my day! I'm supposed to tag seven other bloggers I want to pass the award on to and share a few things about myself.
1. I have mild OCD. I need to check to make sure a door is locked three times, among other things
2. I LOVE Indian food
3. I have a Cindy Crawford-esque mole on the right side of my mouth
4. I am obsessed with paranormal TV - Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, all of it
5. I used to stage "concerts" for my parents when I was little
And the seven bloggers...

A nautical Catherine McNeil sporting all Chanel, including those amazing Peggy Guggenheim-inspired sunnies.
PSA - Luisaviaroma is now accepting pre-orders for the Balmain s/s '10 collection. Prices range from $315 (pricey but not scary) for a tank top to a colossal $55,809 for a crocodile tail coat leather jacket

the girl with the sweater
I'm not quite sure what I'm more enamored with: her hair or her Dries Van Noten wool-mohair blend sweater.

Yvan Rodic is becoming one of my fave blogger photogs. He captures details masterfully while still maintaining an incredibly cool style. Check out his site.

This velvet studded cape by Bess has Kate written all over it. And speaking of Miss Moss, NAP has the gold lamé Marc Jacobs dress she wore to the 2009 Met Gala. Will prob sell out in a nanosecond.
