Moroccan rugs add such an interesting element to a room. Traditionally, Moroccan rugs have been woven by tribal peoples for their utility rather than for decorative purposes (typically used as bedding in the winter months). The above two photos show beautiful examples of the rugs of the Beni Ourain tribe of  Morocco's Atlas Mountains. This tribe's rugs are usually heavy cream or white pile with geometric designs and are hugely popular in the West.

Somehow I've developed an affinity for decorative pieces resembling parts of the human anatomy. Nothing scandalous, just cool stuff like the two above; my latest acquisitions, both at Urban Outfitters.

I moved in to my apartment in early December and its still very much unfinished. Books, magazines and knick-knacks are carelessly strewn about because I have nowhere to put them and the walls are completely bare (which is driving me nuts). I'm remedying the blank walls by framing some of my favorite photos and fashion editorial pics (like this one). Above are a few of the pieces I've kind of fallen in love with and am planning on adding to my small, yet lovely, living space.
