This collection is pure unapologetic romance. Lighter-than-air chiffons, plissé detail, shimmering accents, lace and flower and butterfly adornments made for an youthful and elegant collection. Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri have really modernized the Valentino brand for today's fashion consumer.

chanel spring 2011 couture
Gorgeous, light and super feminine. Delicate embroidery on numerous pieces so intricate it looked like a "cloth of light". Sequined leggings were worn with shifts, skirts and coats. A beautiful pale pink bouclé skirtsuit was classically Chanel, yet modern. All models wore a very Parisian pointed ballet shoe, which I would love to get my feet in.
