giorgia
Sleek, simple and sexy. It doesn't get much better than Giorgia Tordini. She's been featured on the likes of fashion websites T Magazine, Style.Com, Garance Doré and The Coveteur.

two shirts
So into these two shirts. Plaid shirts are a must-have piece for fall (that f-word, sorry!) that I definitely want to try. The pajama shirt is just cool. It is the embodiment of laid-back (read: sleepy) chic. I'm not fussy with styling; a half-tuck into a great jean and I'm done. Easy peasy.

céline f/w 2014 campaign
The inimitable Daria Werbowy, lensed by Juergen Teller, fronts Céline's fall 2014 campaign for the sixth time. As usual, the result is perfection. See the rest of the pics here.

Onecklace
You all know the Carrie necklace. The instantly recognizable piece of bling will forever be synonymous with the stylish, witty, flawed-but-relatable, fiercely loyal friend (and New Yorker) that is Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw.
The kind people at Onecklace recently sent me my very own Carrie (um, Ashley?) necklace. Mine is the Carrie Name Necklace in 24 k gold plated with a 20" chain. I wear it with everything; not unlike Carrie herself who sported hers in casual and dressier looks with equal aplomb. That's the beauty about this necklace, it can be paired with a t shirt and jeans or with a summery floral dress and always looks cool.
Want your own? Of course you do! Check out the Onecklace website and choose from among gorgeous name, initial, monogram and engraved necklaces and get 10% off with the unique coupon code fashionroadkill.

stephanie
Loving Stephanie LaCava's simple, chic look during Paris Couture. Fitted blazer, white tank, distressed jean and a pop of color with a red kitten-heel pump.

christian dior couture fall 2014
I have a thing for a good longline coat, and Raf Simons does a damn good longline coat (inspiration derived from the Edwardian era, no less); they're so timelessly elegant. But, essentially every piece in this collection could be described in the same manner, as long as you make sure to include "light" and "modern" in the description as well because the clothes were that, too.

a piece of morocco
Moroccan rugs add such an interesting element to a room. Traditionally, Moroccan rugs have been woven by tribal peoples for their utility rather than for decorative purposes (typically used as bedding in the winter months). The above two photos show beautiful examples of the rugs of the Beni Ourain tribe of Morocco's Atlas Mountains. This tribe's rugs are usually heavy cream or white pile with geometric designs and are hugely popular in the West.

the boyfriend jean jacket
Oversized (read: boyfriend) jean jackets are so versatile they can be paired with virtually anything. I love this particular look because it looks like it was thrown together last minute; totally unplanned but totally cool. Check out WhoWhatWear for more inspiring boyfriend jean jacket looks and ways to wear it.
