One of the places to where I'm most looking foward to going in NYC is Hudson Bar at the Hudson Hotel. The interior design of the bar is out of this world- literally: the website calls it "Louis XV meets 2001 : A Space Odyssey." It has a glass floor lit from beneath and a hand-painted ceiling by Italian artist Francesco Clemente. The unexpected juxtaposition of 17th-century inspired chairs with sci-fi surroundings is exquisite.
