whaaaat?

Goofing around in front of the camera..no alcohol involved, just sillyness. I love the sillyness.
One of the straps on my shoe is missing a button..I remedied the situation by sticking double-sided flash tape to my foot; that's right kids, the same stuff you use to keep the twins from popping out of low-cut shirts ;)

Scarf, Deena & Ozzy; seafoam viscose tee, AA; chain, Club Monaco; jean, J Brand; strappy shoes, vintage Chanel

Aren't these fantastic!! I know the photographers are Inez and Vinoodh and I'm fairly certain this ed. will be appearing in next month's Paris Vogue but I can't remember who the model/s is/are?? If anyone knows, leave a comment and I'll edit the post. Thx!! Oh, and doesn't the third one totally look like Irina??

I posted a photo of a breathtaking church interior a while back from ffffound but I wasn't sure who it was by. Today (while being sick as a dog) I discovered more similar photos and they were linked to Christoph Morlinghaus. Morlinghaus does architectural photography and his work is stunning. His angles and perspectives always show the geometric elements to the spaces. I'm posting some photos from his website of more really interesting church interiors (including the photo I have already posted because I love it so much).
PS- He takes photos of all kinds of different building interiors, not only churches.

Who else but Kate can look this fabulous in muddy wellies??? And I think she's wearing the Marc Jacobs '80s-inspired shades with the snakeskin band across the top that I can't stop thinking about (and can't find anywhere!!). I could buy these cheap-ass copies at UO but they're just not the same!

I'm not sure I've ever had a physical reaction to an outfit...but when I saw this outfit (she's wearing Dries) on Garance's blog, my eyes widened, I kind of had to catch my breath and I was like, oh. my. god. wow! I'm sure you can see why.

Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 Men's

The print on the vest and shirt looks almost Dali-esque

Extremely suggestive hand prints in "paint"..could be a fun DIY?

Continuing the artistry theme with a pair of paint splattered coveralls, accessorized with a woven belt

More suggestive hand prints, though not as explicit as the previous ones

More paint splatter and a very cool print on the jacket

How to make an American quilt à la McQueen

I love this oversize sweatshirt..I see endless styling possibilities for men and women

Karla looking fab, Karla's Closet

Silk leopard print dress, $32, etsy

byCORPUS strappy circle dress, $58 at UO

My newest obsession is finding a leopard-print dress that is devoid of all tacky-ness and cougar-riffic undertones (read: I don't want to look like a starved-for-attention, over-bronzed, over-hairsprayed, 50-something). Its so hard to find the right print and the right cut, but I think I've narrowed it down to the dresses above (minus Karla's..I just love the dress and how she's styled it with the black boyfriend blazer and teal clutch) and chose the vintage silk strapless number! I'm soooo excited!!

The eyes definitely have it.

stayin' alive in '85

I know SATC movie was out like forever ago, but I think this outfit (above) that Carrie wore will remain one of my favorite outfits ever of hers. I fully admit the movie wasn't my favorite- I still don't understand why they cast Jennifer Hudson..completely unnecessary and she was just awkward in every scene- but I digress. The knee-high argyles Carrie wears are near-dopplegangers to a pair I wore in junior high. I'm now wishing I didn't purge my closet of all garments post-grad because I love how they're styled around the Givenchys, the micro-mini and the cobalt blue oversize tee (emblazoned with STAYIN' ALIVE IN '85, natch).

I'm kind of enamored with this girl's insane studded leather skirt. How amazing is it!! I was looking on ebay and it came up with this (among other things) which I'm pretty sure is not a skirt.

The pompadour, the electric eyeshadow and the larger-than-life false eyelashes make for a stunning beauty editorial. Plus, the styling is perfection..isn't it so David-Bowie-meets-Boy-George?? (Sabrina's cunning powers of observation, not mine!)
