jil sander s/s '10

The modern minimalism at Jil Sander was a little bit more organic this season. The neutral-toned wide leg, billowy pants and belted blazers are the perfect unfussy silhouette for city dwellers like myself (I guess I'll be searching for affordable alternatives). One of my favorite looks is the rolled-cuff short and jacket avec épaulettes and two unexpected cut-outs at the sides. The collection has yielded many an investment piece, the beautiful sculptural shoes in particular; which begs the question if they are showpieces or if they will be produced.
