After the success of Dries Van Noten's previous two collections, the last being a rendering of sharply tailored, city-inspired pieces, Van Noten has made a triumphant return with his s/s '10 collection to what he is known for: an artful mastery of mixing prints. There was a global sense about this collection with batik, rich colors, beautiful silks and tasteful, somewhat understated jewelry (multi-strand pearl necklace!). The shoes were also mostly very simple, black and white capped toe pumps which looked amazing juxtaposed against the gorgeous prints.

few do prints so well xx
They are difficult looks those of the runway, but I can see a lot of possibilities taking specific pieces and combining them with simpler ones. Love the colours!
dries van noten is always stunning, but this season more than ever !!
agree with you !
My eyes don't know where to look!!!
But, I definetly agree with the "global" take on this. There are strong allusions to international essence in this collection.
