givenchy pre-fall 2010

I love how these images look like girls who have just emerged from the dressing room in new clothes and are waiting impatiently for a reaction from their bored boyfriends. But I digress; it is obvs all about the ah-ma-zing clothes. According to style.com, Tisci took his style cues from the label's archives, mostly from the late-sixties and early seventies; this is echoed in one look in particular: a high-waisted leather short and delicate lace blouse with a bow tied at the neck. A noir three-piece with cuffed shorts, blazer and vest, and peeking out from underneath the latter: a white lace tank. The hard-meets-soft, masculine-meets-feminine elements were present throughout the collection. I can totally picture Charlotte Gainsbourg wearing every single piece.

first, I thought, geez, I have not seen enough of s/s collection and there is already pre-fall....

Then, hum... those doesn't seem to have dramatic change from last season since those are mostly black n' white classic looks. .... I feel much relieved.....

It seems that shorts are still trendy and fringe/feather frock is still cool too. :)
Thanks for sharing. :)

Mon dieu, the feather look that Iris Strubegger exhibits is genius.

I love this Givenchy, it's still a keeper.

I would say it looks more like successful, accomplished women, ready to go higher and higher in life...but a great collection nonetheless
