Remember when Kate was Calvin's muse (I hate that word, it sounds so pretentious but I can't think of a better one) in the '90s and she was in nearly every campaign for ck one, ck jeans, ck underwear (Kate and Marky Mark heehee), etc.? The ck one (and ck be) campaigns were kind of a phenomenon in fashion then because the models wore no makeup, undone hair, looked moody, and weren't the typical glamour girls (or guys) seen in most advertisements. I remember flipping through seventeen, Sassy and YM and the Calvin Klein ads always stood out.

i ALWAYS stopped at the ck ads and sometimes i'd tear them out and tape em in my notebook <3 it was inspiring bcz they wore no make up but still you thought... how beautiful
