Beautiful and louche are the two words that come to mind in describing this collection. I love what Phoebe's done with the peplum, a leather version that could be sexy but made almost austere when paired with a collared shirt and loose, voluminous trousers; and a jacket version that gathers in the front. Not much skin was shown, giving an elegantly modest feel to the clothes and plenty of navy and black made up the classic palette. Other highlights include tailored jackets (with large pearl buttons, no less), knife pleat tea-length leather skirts, enormous wedges and a gorgeous scarf print dress.
