Inspiration in Paris

Perusing the photos of the F/W '09 Paris collections on style.com had me more than a little overwhelmed. So much so that I really have no idea what to write. Below are some looks from Haider Ackermann's collection: the superb draping and wrapping, the exquisite tailored mannish jackets and zipper-detailing , and the fact that the colors are predominantly shades of blacks, greys and browns (albeit with a few shots of blood red) made it one of the week's most beautiful (so far, anyway).
