



I have no freakin' idea how the girls at Nina Ricci were able to stomp down the runway in the insane platforms sans heel (actually, one or two had a heel that didn't reach the floor for decorative purposes). Remember the Antonio Berardi heel-less PVC boots Victoria Beckham wore? Yeah, they have nothing on the sky-scrapers Olivier Theyskens' sent out. In the collection that is generally understood to be Theyskens' last, he definitely went out with a bang. The S/S '09 collection is being lauded as Theyskens' best work.
