It seems that there was no in-between at the Costume Institute Gala this year...the gowns were either classic floor-length or sexy abbreviated numbers. With the exception of a few menswear-inspired pantsuits (the best version, however, was rocked by Miss Lake Bell in Rag & Bone, complete with fedora). I browsed through the 140-some odd photos of the uber-stylish fête and picked my favorite looks of the evening (the majority of which were perhaps, not so coincidentally, worn by models).
