The '70s were alive and well in Saint-Tropez. The models seemed carefree, walking down the runway often barefoot. Karl's girls ran the gamut from young to old(er) (Karolina Kurkova), willowy to curvy (Crystal Renn); a trend beginning to form with other designers* (think Louis Vuitton fall 2010). Standout pieces were flowy caftans, silk hot pants, high-waist trousers, thigh-high boots, long crochet dresses (my favorite above in classic Chanel black and white) and cropped bouclé jackets paired with bikini tops. The show closed with Georgia May Jagger on the back of an amazing Harley. Love.
*Quite honestly I was really surprised to see a plus-size model in one of Karl's shows given his previous rants about ladies with "more to love". André Leon-Talley actually called CR's Chanel walk "groundbreaking" (article here).

Amazing show!
love love love it!
I honestly think fashion bloggers are influencing the size of models on the runway and in magazines ...this whole collection really just looks like I could find it at a vintage shop but I like it.
This collection is flippin' amazing. What else can you expect from Karl the grand master himself.
