This was definitely Joe Mimran's best collection for Joe Fresh to date; it felt, well, fresh. The show was an endless parade of Canadian models: Alana Zimmer, Kate King, Heather Marks, Yasmin Warsame, Kori Richardson and Amanda Laine, among others. The clothes possessed a clean '60s minimalism with mod sheaths, tailored shirts and precisely-cut wide leg trousers (my favorite pair was denim with a tuxedo-esque side stripe). A modern sportswear flavor was injected with drawstring details and the use of parachute material in the form of anoraks and billowy ballgown skirts. Footwear included pointed loafer pumps (think Céline) and amazing wedge platform sandals in nude and optic white. Joe Fresh is becoming more and more appealing to the fashion-forward consumer not only in price, but in quality as well.

This is definitely the best high street brand copy of the Isabel Marant wedge sneaker . At 1/7 of the price of the high-end version, I might get both. At Aldo.
