In the past year or so I've been less inclined to buy super high heels because walking in them can be annoying/treacherous, especially in mega-hilly dt Halifax. Plus, I have very high arches in my feet which makes it even more difficult. Enter the mid-heel: at 2-3 inches, they're easy to walk in, yet still give you height. I love this shoe. Its perfect for summer, though its one of those shoes that will be able to transcend seasons and trends because it has a classic look. It can be worn with a slouchy cropped trouser or a cute sun dress; it can even take you into fall. Best part? There are no sequins, chains, studs, ropes, fringe, disco balls, etc. to obliterate the fact that it is, in fact, a shoe. Thank you, Aldo.

I know clogs are the official new spring/summer shoe obsession but I really love these cork wedge platforms by Aldo. Super easy to walk in, laid-back look and they're only $60!! When was the last time you paid less than $100 for a pair of shoes? Seriously?

I know its definitely not the time to be shopping for sandals but the Edell by Aldo is so amazing I really couldn't not buy it. I love that the colorful designs on the base look like they could have been doodled by a 5 year old. And it was on clearance for $39 (down from $125) so I mean how could I say no?
