Sorry for the image-heavy post but seriously, can you blame me?? How amaze are these clothes!!!! I mean, the coat in the first pic with leather pockets and paneling? Swoon! Flirty mini-dresses, lots of texture, great layering pieces and amazing accessories! I am officially excited for spring.

Club Monaco is my favorite store in Halifax (and one of the very few I shop at). I'll walk in and immediately see ten things I need to have. Perusing the f/w 2010 lookbook has had the exact same effect. These are my picks with standout pieces like the cozy cable knit oatmeal-hued cardi, the lace short (omg), a camel coat, and a satin pant paired with a velvet blazer (ooooh texture!). Right now I'm trying to save up for a trip to Florida next month (Zara, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and J.Crew, oh my!) so basically after my trip I'll have to start saving all over again to be able to afford these amazing pieces for fall. And yes, that is Pamela Love in the ruched mini dress, sequin waterfall jacket and plaid shirt.

The Look

I totally have a thing for the menswear look. A jacket with strong shoulder, a loosely structured pant. I recently purchased the Abbie boyfriend blazer from Club Monaco (last one in my size!) that I am in love with. Club Monaco has to be my absolute favorite store anywhere because their pieces are tailored urban-chic perfection.
Check out the lookbook for their new Spring 2009 lookbook entitled The Modern Romantic. It has some frilly, flowery pieces that I"m not too crazy about, but the ones I'm attracted to are the menswear-inspired cardigans, blazers, shirts, jackets and vests.
