celine s/s '10

The look at Celine for spring is simple cuts and clean lines. This season's high-waisted wide leg pants and skirts came in camel and white; one pant in a semi-sheer nude fabric that moved beautifully with the model. What caught my eye were the fine leather toppers; one was an asymmetrical cropped cape-cum-tee in a gorgeous caramel hue layered over a suede minidress. Another version in black cropped just below the chest atop a white piqué shirt. This was definitely a collection for the modern minimalist both in palette (black, white, camel) and in shape.

This is a little boring... I would maybe wear pieces from this collection if I had a corpo job and needed something business casual for the office... otherwise, not so much.
