céline fall 2012

Phoebe Philo delivers again with modern, voluminous silhouettes, zip details aplenty and cool colorblocking.

céline resort 2012

Can't say enough good things about the magic Phoebe Philo works for Céline. Love how this collection doesn't come with pieces that show a lot of skin, but where they do, its super tasteful. Amazing soft, slouchy menswear trousers, sleek leather separates, and the element no Céline collection is without: the must-have shoe; this time in an awesome white flatform that I'm already obsessing over. And can we please talk about the black and white stripe pajamas? Not just for bedtime. Also loving how the bags are worn cross-body above the breast, and of course, the bags in general.

céline spring 2011

I have definitely been gravitating towards simpler, more minimal and classic pieces this past year so this collection, love love love!! Phoebe is the master of the slouchy pant, seriously beautiful and every single piece is so wearable. The clean lines she is known for will never get old, she has single-handedly invented the new classics. Also, the hand-woven vests are amazing.

celine pre-fall 2010

Phoebe Philo is a geeeeeenius. Not only has she incorporated elements from the spring collection into the pre-fall collection like the high-waisted, flared trouser; she has added unexpected, youthful flourishes such as bright pops of Crayola-colored shoes, a whimsical fuzzy top, and a head-to-toe look in fire engine red.

celine s/s '10

The look at Celine for spring is simple cuts and clean lines. This season's high-waisted wide leg pants and skirts came in camel and white; one pant in a semi-sheer nude fabric that moved beautifully with the model. What caught my eye were the fine leather toppers; one was an asymmetrical cropped cape-cum-tee in a gorgeous caramel hue layered over a suede minidress. Another version in black cropped just below the chest atop a white piqué shirt. This was definitely a collection for the modern minimalist both in palette (black, white, camel) and in shape.
