céline resort 2011

Phoebe's done it again with beautiful, clean garments and a fresh palette for resort. I love how the dynamism of the photos alone really captures the fluidity and movement of the clothes. Many of these clothes are what I imagine a chic Parisian business woman would wear in the '70s (I know right, again with me and the '70s!). The Classic bag, introduced in the fall 2010 collection, was updated in an unexpected neon yellow and will probably be spotted all of the Tuileries at the next fashion week. One of my favorite pieces is the fringed poncho emblazoned with the colors of the French flag, possibly a nod to Philo's adopted country. Other notable toppers include a classic trench, a sporty nearly-sheer anorak and a masterful re-interpretation of the now ubiquitous military jacket extended to a coat.

Wow, that collection is beautiful!

My faves are the first coat with the bits hanging off (technical term!) and the gorgeous tracksuit, love how the stripe gives it a unique twist.
