The two best (by far) f/w '09 campaigns. Mert & Marcus for DSquared2 and Ryan McGinley for Missoni featuring Lara and Hanne Gaby, respectively. I especially love the latter because the movement of the clothes is captured so beautifully.

bottled up

I love these perfume bottle dresses by Mary Katrantzou (f/w '09). The bottle's hourglass shape gives the illusion of a cinched waist. The opaque black tight sets off the rich colors of the dresses and really anchors the whole look. I would also consider wearing a dress with a Chanel No. 5 bottle on it (are you listening Karl??)

M for Missoni

Seriously loving Missoni's F/W '09 ad campaign starring Hanne(photog is Ryan McGinley). Don't those knits look incredible trailing behind the pickup? See more here.

boy genius

Is there anything Alex Wang can't do??? These pumps from his f/w '09 collection are insane!! My fave has to be the first with the covered toe box and the clear vamp.. it almost looks like an unfinished prototype. I really love the sculptured heels on all of them. Seriously brilliant.

Cheap Monday F/W '09

I still have no idea how to make pictures bigger and its kind of annoying...a larger pic would should more detail but whatevs. I'm kind of excited about Cheap Monday's F/W collection!! Check out these two looks, aren't they amaaaazing?? I love the uber shredded jean in the first look and the fact that there's duct tape on them. I have no idea if this is the work of the show's stylist or not but isn't it a rad idea?? Plus, check out the creeper heels! I admire those people who can pull off regular creepers because they can look cool, but I'd end up looking like a circus freak. So, I really like the creeper heel. Also loving the cropped tuxedo blazer and rust-hued frilly skirt in look 2. I'm already planning outfits in my head. I do that a lot.

Go fish

I have to say, I liked the thigh-high fishing waders that Hussein Chalayan (top) sent out much more than the ones Miuccia showed at her F/W collection for Prada. Miuccia's interpretation was far too literal while Hussein's were definitely fashion.
