Most of my fave street style photos from fashion month were snapped by Nam of streetfsn. If you haven't checked out his blog yet, go now, its amazing. Above are pics from New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks.

Daring cut-outs at Haider Ackermann. Definitely one of the best collections for fall 2011.

chanel f/w 2011

In a decidedly darker turn, Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel fall 2011 offerings were shown "amid a fog-shrouded forest on a bed of still-smoldering scorched earth". The dramatic setting proved an ideal showcase for clothes that ran the gamut from masculine toughness with slouchy (yet amazingly tailored) trousers and jackets to gothic-inspired with black lace eveningwear.

chloé f/w 2011

Snakeskin seems to be the print du jour, at least in Hannah MacGibbon's case. Python was applied to sweaters, voluminous toppers, wide-leg trousers, shirtdresses and scarves, among a throng of other pieces. The seventies vibe was also alive and well in this collection with roomy silhouettes and high waists. One look in particular stood out for me: a black and white colorblock pant paired with loose-fitting wide rib turtleneck sweater worn with a beautifully-draped coat.

iceberg f/w 2011

Some very cool looks in this collection. I love the generous pops of color, especially the blues and oranges, and the graphic beading. Skirts with slits up-to-there in wool and silk managed to look sexy yet conservative. Some of my favorite pieces were the roomy sweaters with a flattering v-neck, one even adorned with sequin florals.
