Can we please talk about this vint lace jacket Carolina is wearing and how freaking perfect it is?! The strong shoulder, the buttons, um everything? AND she's styled it over a simple white tee and black skinnies which is exactly how I would have done it. Yeah. Why didn't I get to this jacket first? Seriously. Obsessed.

Androgyny ([noun] from androgynous [adj.] Being neither distinguishably masculine or feminine, as in dress, appearance or behavior) is becoming a popular element in fashion. With the emergence of menswear for women, neutral palettes and garments like the boyfriend blazer, the sartorial line between women and men is becoming increasingly blurred. I'd love to know what you guys think!
*It was interesting seeing some of your responses to this post. I think most of you thought this person was a girl when in fact, its a guy. He has the perfect androgynous look. His facial features are delicate and although he wears his hair short, the side-swept style could be touted as more feminine than masculine. The clothes he wears blur the lines even further as they're mainly unisex pieces. His name is Damien and you can check out his amazing style on Lookbook.*

I became beyond intrigued about Yaffa Café after seeing photos on 10.17 of their leopard print walls. Yes, leopard print walls. I am obsessed with leopard print anything so when I saw those walls I was like, ok, MUST go there! The above snap is just a tiny peek of the restaurant and its incredible décor. Apparently the food's pretty good too, which is always a bonus (I read that their brunch is a staple among East Village dwellers). Next time I'm in NYC (hopefully sooner rather than later), I will definitely be making a stop at Yaffa.

Prism makes amazing eyewear and evidently, equally amazing cases. I've always wanted glasses as long as I can remember. I used to fake poor eyesight during my visual acuity tests so that I might have to get a pair...never worked. Recently I bought myself a pair of glasses with non-prescription lenses for $12. They have a silver frame with a thick black band across the top; totally nerdy, which I love. My friend told me I look like George from Seinfeld when I wear them, which is obvs exactly what I was going for.

I want a sweater exactly like this one. You know the kind of sweater that swallows you up in yummy, cozy, fuzzy goodness when you put it on? Yeah I need one of those. Its cold outside and warmth doesn't always come in chic forms.
